The Survival of the Shawangunks is an 8 stage triathlon that requires self-sufficient racers to transition between a 30 mile bike ride, 19 miles of trail running, and 2 miles of swimming. The race that culminates in a thousand-foot climb to the finish line at the top of Mohonk Mountain.
